Where can I get certification for CPR and First Aid?

I want to take a CPR Course with my brother (who wants to be a cop) and get my CPR/First Aid Card. However, I'm not sure where to go to find this sort of training. I have talked to the Red Cross, but the only one in town is sort of run down so I'm looking for other ideas? Do you have CPR/First Aid Certification? Can I get this from a local fire department? Thanks for your knowledge! We are in the Vancouver, Washington area. (sort of near Portland, Oregon)

1. Hospital sometimes have classes. Check with your local hospital.
2. Since the Red Cross isn't helping, I would try local college, or even local hospital, not sure if the fire department can help you or not.
3. usually your local YMCA r hostipital they usually have skeduled classes.
4. check into your local red cross chapter. I know ours offers cpr classes
5. Either..a community college...a fire dept ...an ambulance service...etc. You could also contact the police dept and ask this question.
6. hospitals also offer this class. for a fee
7. respiratory therapy department at hospitals offer child/adult CPR classes to the public
