What country has the most relaxed citizenship requirements?
Other than the US, which I am currently a citizen of, which country has the most relaxed requirements for non natives? I'm looking for short residency requirements, property ownership, etc. If I could actually get citizenship w/o living there that would be a huge plus.

- Check out Steal This Wiki's "Get the Hell Out of Dodge" page (link provided), they can explain money, border crossing requirements, et cetera. Seriously read into it, there's a lot you may not have known about. Hope this helps!
- Afghanistan
- If you have enough money, you can even become an honorary consul for many poorer countries. If not, I think you will have to reside in one for a time. Belize and Honduras are popular.
- Somalia. Definitely Somalia. You should think of what your ancestory is. For example, if your mom is Scottish you can apply for citizenship there. It works that way for a lot of countries.
- apart from the USA I can't think of any other. In the US all you need is $500000 to invest and you get a green card and then 5 years later you get your citizenship. As easy as that.
